Lola.com provides a simple way for companies to book, manage, and report on business travel. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, this rapidly expanding team currently has over 90 employees but is consistently hiring 8-12 people per month to meet their growth goals. Having recently raised a Series C, Lola is primarily focused on hiring for engineering and sales roles, so they can continue to add features and bring their corporate travel solution to more companies.

Without a system to manage their hiring, the Lola team found it difficult to stay organized and move quickly. “Prior to Hire, our recruiting process was haphazard,” says Paul English, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Lola. “We used a combination of spreadsheets and email to track our hiring, which caused a lot of frustration for the team.”

I’ve seen other systems use a 5-point scale, but then if you give a candidate a 3, you don’t have to make that tough call.
